Terms of Use
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms apply when you use refactrix.com (the “website”). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
Who we are
The website is operated by Mohit Jeswani, trading as Refactrix, an individual based in India (“Refactrix”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at mohit.j@refactrix.com.
Our services
The website describes our software engineering services. Nothing on it is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract. Any work we do for you is governed by a separate written agreement, such as a proposal or statement of work, which takes priority over these terms for that work. Prices and descriptions on the website are indicative and may change.
Content on the website
Our blog and other content are for general information only. They are not professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your situation, and you should not rely on them as such. Some articles are drafted with the help of AI tools and are reviewed by us before publishing. We work to keep content accurate and current but do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date.
Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, design, graphics and our name and logo, belong to us or our licensors. You may view the website and share links to it. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the source. You may not otherwise copy, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission. Images credited to third parties, such as Unsplash photographers, remain theirs.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the website unlawfully, or to send spam or misleading information through our contact form;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or our admin area;
- introduce malware, or disrupt or overload the website;
- scrape or harvest the website by automated means except as allowed by our robots.txt file.
Information you send us
When you contact us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to share it. Please do not send confidential information until we have agreed confidentiality terms in writing. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Links to other websites
The website links to third-party sites, such as our social media profiles. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Availability
We provide the website “as is” and may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time. We do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors or viruses.
Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website or its content, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit, data or business opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you use the website as a consumer, you keep any rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page, with the date shown at the top, applies whenever you use the website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any mandatory right you may have to bring proceedings in the country where you live.
